Tiramisu😘

☕️ The Only Tiramisu Recipe You’ll Ever Need!
Looking to impress at your next dinner party? This classic, creamy Tiramisu is surprisingly simple to make, but tastes like it came straight from an Italian café. 🇮🇹
Prep time: 30 mins | Chill time: 6+ hours (but trust me, overnight is worth the wait!)
Dish size: 8" x 8"
🛒 The Ingredients
1 package (7.06 oz) Savoiardi Ladyfingers
6 large egg yolks
3 large egg whites
1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
1 lb (16 oz) mascarpone cheese, chilled
1 cup hot water
2 tbsp instant espresso powder
2 tbsp Rum (optional, but recommended!)
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
👩‍🍳 The Steps
1. Espresso: Stir the espresso powder into hot water until dissolved. Let it cool, then stir in the rum.
2. Egg Whites: Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
3. The Cream: In a separate large bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar for about 5 minutes until thick and pale yellow. Add the chilled mascarpone and whisk for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
4. Combine: Gently fold the stiff egg whites into the mascarpone mixture. Keep it fluffy!
5. Assemble: * The Pro-Tip: Quickly dip ladyfingers (1 second per side!). Do not soak them, or they’ll get mushy.
Place a layer of dipped ladyfingers in your 8"x8" dish.
Spread 1/3 of the mascarpone mixture over them.
Lightly dust with 1/3 of the cocoa powder.
Repeat this two more times.
6. Chill: Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
Enjoy your masterpiece! Buon appetito! 🍰✨

The library of Congress was my favorite part of our Washington DC trip. The architecture and the art on the ceiling was just so beautiful. I could’ve stayed there all day staring at that ceiling.

Mission accomplished! ✅ The party was a blast, the food was a hit, and I am officially ready for a nap. Being part of such a special 50th birthday was amazing, but I think this caterer has earned some serious R&R tonight. Cheers to a beautiful event and a long night of sleep ahead! 🥂😴✨

Bacon and brown sugar little sausage😘 Brown Sugar & BBQ Bacon-Wrapped Smokies
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
Total time: 1 hour
Servings: Makes a large batch (perfect for parties)
Ingredients
Cocktail sausages (smokies): 2–3 packs (depending on the size of your baking sheet)
Bacon: 1–2 pounds (thin-sliced bacon works best to ensure it gets crispy)
Brown sugar: 1 cup (packed)
Barbecue seasoning/dry rub: To taste (use your favorite brand)

Instructions
1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
2. Wrap: Take a slice of bacon and cut it into thirds. Wrap each cocktail sausage with a piece of the bacon, securing it tightly.
3. Arrange: Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down, so they don't unwrap while cooking.
4. Season: Generously sprinkle the barbecue seasoning over all the wrapped sausages. Then, cover them generously with the brown sugar.
5. Bake: Place the sheet in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
6. Check for Crispiness: The bacon should be golden brown and crispy, and the brown sugar should be melted and caramelized into a delicious glaze. If you prefer them even crispier, you can broil them for an additional 1–2 minutes, but keep a close eye on them to ensure they don't burn!
7. Serve: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving, as the sugar glaze will be very hot. Enjoy!
Tip: If you find the bacon isn't quite as crispy as you'd like after 45 minutes, you can drain some of the rendered grease from the pan halfway through the cooking process.
