So about 4 years ago came to me for guitar lessons as a self proclaimed beginner having only self taught himself for a few months beforehand. In the first lesson he was already ripping through Master of Puppets and a few of the other songs I save for intermediates. In the time he was taking lessons, he exceeded every expectation I’d have of a student and took his practice more seriously than I’ve ever seen. He was starting to shred within the first year, it was wild. Fast forward to about a year and half ago he approached me about recording some of the songs he’d been writing. He played EVERYTHING on the record. He taught himself drums, how to sing, and even orchestral scoring and absolutely killed it. His album “The Trilogy Of Man” just came out today and you HAVE check it out! I’m seriously blown away by how far he’s come in such a short time, this kids going places
