Our media team at Knox works to create plans that outline what tactics we are using and when to use them for different client campaigns. Media plans consist of KPIs, budget, targeting, messaging, scheduling and tactics being used.

We are excited to spotlight our summer intern, Wes! Wes has been learning and growing in video editing. We are proud of the progress he has made and appreciate the work he has created for us. 👏

He is studying film at Ohio University and has been able to expand his knowledge here this summer by attending shoots – capturing testimonials and B-roll for different projects – and getting to use a variety of gear and software he hasn’t been exposed to before. Wes says his favorite part of this internship has been working on shoots and participating in real-time creative decision-making to capture the best material possible.

He has enjoyed learning about corporate video and marketing, shaping his understanding of what can be achieved through this industry and how it operates. He describes how working alongside the team here at Knox has been testing and improving his abilities as an editor.

Learning our in-house dsp. I feel like I am always learning as our dsp partner is constantly updating their capabilities. But I feel like I know the interface very well and can offer a good service to our agency and our clients.

Q: Favorite way to recharge after a busy week?
Spending time with my amazing 7-year-old son, Mr. Grayson. We build Legos, race Hot Wheels and hit the gym together. In the summer, we head to the lake as much as possible—surfing, wakeboarding and soaking up the water and sun.

Q: What drew you to Knox?
The team and culture. It’s an incredible group of talented professionals all focused on one goal: Happy Clients Every Day! I love my work family!

Q: What's the most random item on your desk?
A small foam tie dye elephant my son gave me – That’s missing an ear from our dog Oakley Stephen Thomas Blueberry Fawver, who must have thought it was a dog toy.
