We’re excited to invite you all to our annual Akron NAWIC RubberDucks Fundraiser Game on Sunday, August 3rd at 1:00 PM! The event is coming up quickly - so reserve your tickets asap 🙂

🎟️ Tickets are only $10, and all proceeds go directly to supporting our scholarship program – empowering the next generation of women in construction.

We’re seeking company sponsorships and raffle items to boost our fundraising efforts. We rely on sponsorships to be able to award our annual scholarships to students pursuing construction. This is a great way to spotlight your company or one you work with – all while supporting a great cause. Sponsorship flyer is attached. I encourage you to share with your company and clients.

Sponsorship levels range from $100 to $1,000, with amazing perks like throwing out the games FIRST pitch, game tickets, social media / website recognition, sticker logo giveaways, and more!

Let’s Build Construction Camp (LBCC) held its 3rd annual FREE summer camp for Girls in Canfield, Ohio at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. They learned new skills through hands-on projects - framing, masonry, electrical, plumbing, roofing, interior design, etc!! Helping girls build courage, confidence and character is why NAWIC Akron appreciates supporting and sponsoring this event. It is such a rewarding week filled with skill-building, mentorship, and big dreams!!

Jen Gonzalez with National Design Mart is hosting this month's meeting on Wednesday, June 11th at their location in Medina. Join us for a relaxing and creative evening with fellow NAWIC members! NAWIC Akron enjoyed teaching the students about all the Construction opportunities at the Career Day for Cuyahoga Falls Elementary K-5th grade. We spoke to over 300 students!!

The student asked great questions!!
