On Friday, July 25th, join Dorie for a scenic and informative walk in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We'll be joined by Pam Machuga, still well-known as "Ranger Pam" even after her retirement, who will teach us all about Beaver Marsh. Beaver Marsh is one of the most diverse natural communities in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. There is so much history and beautiful scenery to explore!

The walk will be approximately two miles and will take about an hour. No registration is required. This is a self-drive event. FREE! Please arrive a few minutes before start time.

We're just a couple days out from the biggest parade Akron's had in 50 years! With an all-new parade route to mark our city’s 200th Anniversary, this will be one of the Signature Akron Bicentennial Events of the year, so don't miss out.

Because this is such a large parade, we encourage folks to arrive early to avoid street closures and snag a good viewing spot. The parade will begin promptly on Saturday at 10am.
