🍎 Mountain of Food – 2026 Schedule 🍞

Mountain of Food, hosted by OPEN M and in partnership with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, continues in 2026!

📅 When: Third Friday of each month
⏰ Time: 9–11 AM
📍 Where: 941 Princeton Street, Akron

This drive-thru bulk distribution offers produce, breads and more to households who meet income guidelines.

What to know:
- Residents of all counties are welcome
- Bring a current ID and proof of address
- No referral needed
- Picking up for another household? Bring a letter of proxy

Want to Volunteer?
Individuals, groups, and company teams are welcome to volunteer and help distribute food to families in our community. It’s a hands-on way to make a meaningful impact each month.

The PARTY has started! It's Lock 3's Snowball Crawl from 2-6 PM. Come sample your favorite craft beers from local breweries. Tickets sold at the door. $3 samples or $28 for 10 tickets and a free mug. 🤸‍♀️The Recreation Center has teamed up with Tumble N Kids Gymnastics to offer classes for ages 1-12 at the Recreation Center this winter! Classes will teach gymnastics and tumbling skills in a fun, age-appropriate way.
📆Classes start the week of Monday, January 12. Classes are available Mondays and Thursdays. Times and costs vary by class.
