Will be musky/flathead fishing the first weekend in September at saltfork though.

With the summer temps now upon us and water temperatures rising fast, I won't be offering any guided trips for Muskellunge at Westbranch, Milton or Leesville again until September. You can book a weekend date now but no dates avalible until September.

Here's a couple photos of the most recent trip.
A beastly musky for the amateur musky angler of the year and a handsome musky on the figure 8 for Josh.
Will have the full video up eventually, the gopro/gopro app is giving me the business currently and customer support from any company is nonexistent at this point in time.

Finally had some time to start editing the footage from the group camping trip and exploring the fishery at Alum Creek reserviour tonight.
Almost all the footage was corrupted and lost.

Definitely liked the lake and I'll give it another's try next year, it's just a little to far for a day trip when I have other lakes within an hour drive.

This Sunday I'll be out guiding a musky foshing trip.

Besides the first heat wave of the year, had a wonderful time camping,fishing and exploring Alum Creek reserviour for the first time.
I caught by PB saugeye (21") and will definitely return to the lake again, perhaps next spring.
(There's a Taylor Swift joke mixed in there somewhere and someone sent me this obviously completely doctored photo)

Not many people throw crankbaits for musky and only troll them but maybe it's worth you giving it a try.

What y'all fishing for this weekend?
I've still got musky fever and probably will until August. Then give them the hottest month off and maybe try for cats and night eyes.

You ever troll at night at the lakes for eyes in peak summer? It can be much more productive than day fishing if you don't want to work deep harnesses
