Going to give Chaos Tackle Company 20/20 rods a try. Ordered a 9'6" Shock and Awe XXH for tossin big rubber baits and I'll pair that up with a shimano tranx 401HG.

Will see how it works in September when I start musky fishing again.

If you were heading to your local little river/creek fishery and could only bring one lure, what would it be?
No live bait, not a choice of two but only 1.

I'd probably got with a small/tiny roostertail, brown body with gold blade.

Some people don't fish in the winter, some not during hunting season but I normally find myself fishing the least in July and August. I give the musky a break during the two hottest months and let's be real, it's just HOT so I focus on working as much as I can during these two months.
Dropping the boat off at Erie Marine Sales this Sunday to have a little work done on the boat next week.
Guided trips for Muskellunge will resume in September if you'd like to book a weekend date or keep your eyes peeled on this page for "open seats" as I'll be musky fishing hard until the fall brawl.
Hope yall slaying them fish while getting a tan and quality vitamin D.

Going to be a little slow with making content during July and August and focusing on working as much as I can besides a group camping trip.
Will be musky/flathead fishing the first weekend in September at saltfork though.
Apex predators get me hard.

With the summer temps now upon us and water temperatures rising fast, I won't be offering any guided trips for Muskellunge at Westbranch, Milton or Leesville again until September. You can book a weekend date now but no dates avalible until September.

Here's a couple photos of the most recent trip.
A beastly musky for the amateur musky angler of the year and a handsome musky on the figure 8 for Josh.
