Meet Barr, the face behind Park Place Design. With over 20 years of experience in space planning, kitchen and bath design, and remodeling, Barr brings both expertise and a thoughtful, intuitive approach to every project across the Bay Area, CA.

Barr is a Certified Interior Designer in the State of California, a Certified Kitchen and Bath Design Associate (NKBA), and a Color Consultant with a degree in Interior Design.

For her clients, she creates detailed floor plans, elevations, cabinetry designs, tile layouts, electrical and lighting plans, along with realistic 3D perspectives that help bring each space to life before construction begins.

This month the Stroll Round Hill cover features a special gathering with Dr. Ghorbani’s family, friends, and neighbors at Round Hill Country Club honoring Nowruz, the Persian New Year, a 3,000 year old tradition marking the arrival of spring.

Nowruz, meaning “new day,” is observed at the spring equinox and represents renewal, fresh beginnings, and the transition from winter to spring. It is a time to reflect on the past year and welcome a new season with hope.

Rooted in ancient tradition, Nowruz has been celebrated for thousands of years across many countries and cultures. Families gather, homes are refreshed, and the Haft Seen table is set with symbolic items representing health, love, patience, and abundance.

The celebration brought the community together with live music, dancing, and tradition.
