“How did you make that garden photo?!”
I’ve been getting this question so much since sharing the front garden plan in stories last week — so here’s the honest, slightly magical answer:
I didn’t start with a finished photo.
I started with a feeling.
Lavender spilling toward the grass, blush roses climbing the stone walls, peonies nodding their heavy heads in the morning light.
Something that felt like it had always belonged here.
So I worked backward from that vision.
I mapped out the beds.
Layered the plants by height, season, and scent.
Chose colors like old oil paints — soft, romantic, quiet.
Then, with a little help from ChatGPT and a few carefully chosen tools, I brought that vision to life — not in the soil (yet), but in a visual.
That’s the photo I shared: a dream rendered visible.
Now I’m planting it for real.
Gravel paths, climbing roses, bench nooks under the trees — the garden I’ve imagined for years is finally taking root.
If you’re dreaming of something similar, I’m sharing everything I used to get here: the full layout, plant list, printable tags, timelines, and path map.
You don’t need a landscaper. Just a clear vision and the courage to start.
The garden isn’t real yet… but it will be.
Save this post for when you’re ready to start planning your own. And if you want the full PDF kit, just DM me — I’m happy to share it.
