I was walking down the boat ramp to go fish around before a few guide trips when I ran into Troy loading up his boat. He told me he had been fishing all day and had only managed to catch a few catfish.

I asked if he wanted to hop in the boat with me for a bit, and he said yes!

Fishing, especially guiding, can test your patience and stress level, but days like this are a great reminder of what fishing is really about: enjoying the outdoors, meeting new people, and hearing their stories.

I’m opening up half day Lake Fork & trips and Graph tuning trips from August 21st-28th! Went and do some scouting and found fish schooling offshore. This is a great time to dial in electronics or to go smash on em in the morning or evening! Too hot to do full days unless you’re paying medic bills too😭.
Half Day trips 4-5hrs
Graph tuning 3 hrs

This will be one of my last full weeks to guide before tournament season kicks back up this fall!!
