Sunangel Media is the media production and design company of filmmaker, musician, and educator Gaetano Vaccaro. Gaetano is committed to making meaningful contributions to community through his work, and has been supporting non-profit organizations, small businesses and artists with media and design for over a decade. Since 2009, he has been an arts instructor to youth in music, film and new media

with the award-winning program YouthFX. He also developed curriculum and taught media arts in the classrooms of Albany High School through Proctor’s MediaWorks for 5 years. The short films he has created with his most recent work as director of photography and editor for the nationwide Rock Against The TPP music tour have received hundreds of thousands of views on social media. The last two music videos he shot and edited have received national media attention with features in Mic.com, The Source, Yes! His work with YouthFX has helped young people to create films that have been screened at more than 40 film festivals throughout the world. In addition to his film work, Gaetano Vaccaro is a professional guitarist and songwriter with Taina Asili. Throughout his music career he has recorded 4 albums and performs throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Recently I filmed a performance video for a new song by and the that will be released on International Women’s Day on March 8th. It was definitely cold that day but it came out beautifully!

Check out this video of of speaking on the impact that made on their fundraising efforts. This video was filmed several years ago, and today a thriving and profound organization that has continued to expand their infrastructure, as well as their contributions to the movement to end racism and injustice in the food system. We are honored to continue to work with them today to edit their educational videos that get distributed worldwide.

This summer I had the pleasure of working with the NYS Dept. of Health on a PSA about crosswalk safety. The set was extra fun with four talented kid actors and Bowdie the dog, known for his many roles including Sesame Street’s Elmo's World. It was an extra hot day but our fabulous crew worked together to make it flow perfectly!

In 2017 Taina Asili and I traveled to Puerto Rico four months after hurricanes Irma and Maria landed. I brought two DSLR’s and an iPhone and traveled to several locations to film Taína have intimate conversations with four brilliant women artists and activists. The result was the 30 min. documentary Resiliencia, which was later awarded “Best Documentary” at International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival, and also screened at Global Peace Film Festival in Orlando and Workers Unite! Film Festival in NYC.

Paola is breaking boundaries and slamming bodies as a trans woman in professional wrestling. Released in 2020, it was selected to screen at The Intl. Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival, , and PrideArtsChicago.

The first music video I ever filmed for Taina Asili was in 2016 for the song “Freedom” which was shot in Albany and Grafton NY. The performances were powerful and the video received coverage in Mic Latina Magazine HuffPost and more.

• 1 parent and a child (2-4yrs old, 25-65 lbs, under 49”, in a 5-point harness seat)
• 1 parent and a child (4-7yrs, 65-110 lbs., under 57" in a booster seat )
