This ol’ War Horse is scheduled to take her last ride on Friday, though she’ll be wearing Shark’s Teeth to the Happy Hunting Grounds along with her new door art. 80-177, “Miss Behavin’,” “Miss Behavin’ Again” ”Lisa Marie II” ”Low Slow and Deadly” and “MisBehavin’ To The Very End.” She was described as a “real workhorse” during the 74th FS’s 24-25 deployment. She was the last green A-10 in the fleet. She had a real mischievous side— there was always something going on with some system to keep your attention. HUD flicker was one of the last ways that she’d keep her pilots on their toes. Planned stops on her last ride include Barksdale and Laughlin before getting to DM Friday afternoon. Her date with the ‘yard Is on Tuesday 12 Aug. Any stories or pictures that you’ve got would be greatly appreciated for the old gal after an incredible 45 years of service. And she’s still got gas in the tank, if only we sound the trumpet.

So long, beautiful— we hardly knew ye.
