Today, June 18th, marks a profoundly disheartening moment in the fight for our rights as the US Supreme Court has ruled to ban gender-affirming care for transgender youth. As a transgender man, this decision affects me deeply, and I share in the sadness, anger, and fear that many of you may be feeling. This ruling is a stark reminder of the challenges we face, but it is also a call to unite more strongly than ever.
The Sound Den remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting transgender individuals of all ages, with a special focus on our youth, who are most affected by this decision. Our community is resilient, and together, we will continue to advocate for our right to live authentically and with dignity.

To our brave transgender youth, know that you are not alone. You have a vast community of transgender individuals who are here to support you, especially during times like these. It takes immense courage to be true to yourself in a world that often fails to understand you, and I want you to know that your strength does not go unnoticed.
Even when the path seems daunting, and the world feels unkind, remember that there is hope and a future where things can and will improve. We are here for you, ready to stand by your side and fight for a just and inclusive society where you can thrive.
