After a cooler than average start to the week, we'll warm up a bit over the next couple of days. Wednesday looks quiet once again with a mix of sun and clouds, rain chances will be higher on Thursday with a wave of low pressure approaching the region. It won't be an all day washout, but there could be some rain around at times.

You may have noticed this batch of altocumulus clouds moving in from the west around lunchtime. The sharp division between blue sky and white clouds made for some great pictures around the area! Pretty nice cluster of showers and storms over Central NY right now! That rain though is expected to become a bit more spotty as it moves eastwards into a more stable environment.
