Clean out question for washer standpipe: doing some work a buddy recommended while I have this wall open. Changing out the washer box, and he said I should put a clean out on here as well. Do I have to use a wye for the clean out or is a sanitary T fine?

I’m capping my stoves gas line. Guy at Home Depot recommended I use this black malleable iron plug. Plugged it and it has a shutoff. But I’m now reading that I’ve should’ve used similar metals (brass to brass instead of iron to brass). Is that actually true?
