Why Does ParkFest Really Cost $20? An Investigation

When the news about the University At Albany’s ParkFest lineup, scheduled for this Saturday in the entry plaza to the academic podium, was announced, I was thrilled. The performers, announced by Student Association last week, are Fabolous, Jadakiss, Lloyd Banks, Lloyd, and Ashanti with “special guests.” Sounds like an awesome show, right?...

Call of Duty, Elder Scrolls, Battlefield, Assassin’s Creed, Uncharted; all of these have now come and gone and, if you’re anything like me, you’ve played them all so much you’re bound to be looking for something new soon....

XKCD’s Money Chart

http://xkcd.com/980/huge/#x=-772&y=-1446&z=5

Randall Munroe charts money from dollars to thousands to millions to billions to trillions. It’s definitely an easy view for people to wrap their minds around the “99 percent” and the “1 percent.”
I thought this would be an interesting share, especially the, “If I Had $1000000″ allusion.

But what is the issue with constructing a 1,661 mile pipeline that would transport tar sands oil from Alberta, Canada to outside Houston, Texas?
Well, there seems to be...
