Join WMHT Public Media, the League Of Women Voters of NYS, and Women's Press Club of NYS for a lively discussion and screening of clips from the upcoming American Experience | PBS documentary "The Vote".

One hundred years after the passage of the 19th Amendment, The Vote tells the dramatic culmination story of the hard-fought campaign waged by American women for the right to vote, a transformative cultural and political movement that resulted in the largest expansion of voting rights in U.S. history.
WMHT's screening will consist of two clips from the American Experience's upcoming documentary, "The Vote".
An informative discussion, Q/A opportunity will follow the screening.
Laurie Kozakiewicz, Ph.D., Lecturer of History at University at Albany and the History Liaison for University in the High School Program, as well as leadership with the League of Women Voters of New York State will be our panelists.
The conversation will be moderated by Barbara Lombardo, journalism teacher at University at Albany and former executive editor of The Saratogian and The (Troy) Record.
