🚧 Road Closure Notice – Contract D (Mead Brothers) 🚧

Beginning May 2, 2026, N. Eaton Street (from Broadwell to Austin Ave) is fully closed for construction.

Here’s what to expect:

Monday, May 4: Saw cutting of pavement
Tuesday, May 5: Removal work begins
Following removals: Water main installation

🚗 Detours will be in place throughout the project.
🏡 Local residents will continue to have access to their driveways.

We appreciate your patience as we work to improve infrastructure in the area!

PUBLIC NOTICE: Use Caution Due to Downed Trees and Power Lines

Residents are urged to use caution when traveling due to downed trees, limbs, and power lines in the area.

Please avoid affected streets whenever possible and do not approach or touch any downed power lines. Always assume every power line is live and dangerous. Keep children and pets away from impacted areas.

City crews and utility providers have been notified and are working to address the situation. Please report downed power lines directly to your utility provider or call 911 if there is an immediate safety concern.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as cleanup and restoration efforts continue.

We’re inviting students to create their own science project and be part of our Community Science Fair. Whether it’s engineering, biology, coding, or a creative experiment—anything goes!
