Words from George Benson: The music world has suffered a big loss in the last few days... and I mean big. Not only did he posses one of the greatest voices of our time, but he was my dear friend. My association with Peabo Bryson was a blessed one. I began to examine my own singing because he showed me a different viewpoint and he never hld back from his fans, who like myself, loved him dearly. There are many great singers in the world, but there's only ONE Peabo Bryson. It was my good fortune to be one of his friends.
