Thank you! Thank you everyone for all the support of our run for Bernalillo County Commission. Though it was not the result we were hoping for, I am proud we gave all our heart in this race.

When I announced my candidacy just a few months ago, I knew it would be an uphill battle and I would be the underdog in this race. What I did not know was how divisive and ugly politics can be. I am proud to say, we rose above that and kept a clean and honest campaign. I have always stood tall in hopes to make a difference in our community, and the result will not change that. I will continue fighting for our community and be an advocate for every voice.

I am so grateful to each one of you that supported this campaign. You all helped in a huge way and I will always remember the support you showed for this campaign and simply believing in me.

Today is Election Day! 🗳
Please don’t forget to vote!

Growing up, I only dreamed about running for office. My Mom used to always talk about me running for office one day, but I would just laugh it off because it seemed crazy at the time. I wish she was here to see this dream become a reality.

Running for office has been such an experience. I have loved learning so much more about my community and meeting so many people. It’s amazing how much more I have learned, realizing the need for someone to be a voice for all of our community. Too many voices across the community have not been heard for too long. I am running for Bernalillo County Commission because we need a voice for all of the community, not just the politically connected. We need someone who will listen and truly cares about making a difference. That is what I have always done, and will continue to do if I am elected.

Win or lose today, I’m glad I did it. It has not been easy running for office with all the lies and smear campaigns against my name, but I chose the high road and never lied or tried to smear my opponent for my gain. I know I ran a good clean race and I am proud of that.

Thank you to all my family, friends, and new friends across the community who have supported me during this race. All the support has been sincerely appreciate. If you have taken time to share any of my posts, tell your friends/family to vote for me, made a contribution, volunteer, and/or put up a sign for me, I want to give you a big THANK YOU! All of the support is sincerely appreciated and all of it makes a difference.

Please remember to vote today, no matter where you live. Your voice matters and all of our voices make a big difference when we come together for our communities. ❤️
