The year 2020 has been a year full of change, discomfort, confusion, and instability. However, amidst the chaos we found hope. Hope through our community. Beginning in March 2020 the NACA Inspired Schools Network and the New Mexico Dream Team partnered to launch the Relief Program, a relief effort by community, for community founded on shared values of cultural identity and holistic wellness.

Indigenous and undocumented peoples have been at the front lines of the pandemic, with many undocumented and mixed-status families left out of the initial pandemic relief acts passed by Congress.

Since the beginning of , we have provided assistance to over 1,250 Indigenous and undocumented families in New Mexico, South Dakota, Colorado, and Oklahoma.

We are grateful for the overwhelming response of support from our communities to the program. Now as we head into a new year, we seek to make 2021 a year of hope and revitalization, rebuilding the economies of our communities and of our families. With this next phase of , we will support an additional 1,000 families with food, supplies, and cash awards.

Traditionally our peoples have a rich history of unity, coming together to share whatever we have, big or small. Today we invite all to join with us, to be part of our community, and help foster positive change despite the pandemic! Join our campaign, donate today, share with friends and family, and show that despite social distancing we can be !
