Did you know…

The town of Cannon Beach was originally called Elk Creek before changing it’s name in 1922.

 Wild Roosevelt Elk frequently roam the beaches, dunes, and residential areas of town.  The easiest times to catch sight of them are early mornings and late evenings before sunset.  Fall is a perfect time to view these magnificent animals, but watch from a distance as it is mating season!
