Father of the week! Mr. J.J Buck! J.J said what being a father means to him!
“Being a father challenges me to be a better person everyday. I want to be able to instill confidence, responsibility and core values in my son and I have to lead by example. The everyday tasks that seem simple to us now are some of the best moments to watch when it clicks. It is the ultimate privilege to be a parent and I love that I get that responsibility for the rest of my life. The laughs, the craziness and all the fun is the icing on the cake.”

Father of the week! Mr. Terance Gamble! He said what being a father means to him is:
“ It’s everything man i feel like this would require an essay but i’ll sum it up in a few sentences. Being a good father isn’t optional it’s a necessity, but i know everyone doesn’t get that. I want my child to know that her father loves her and that this caretaker will be in her life, period. There isn’t a manual on how to father but your actions will speak volumes 🫡“

Father/Grandfather of the Week! Señor Paul Muñiz!
Paul said what being a father means to him is:
“ Being a father, is a learning experience. Like taking care of your children even if you have to do it alone. Sometimes we don’t have a village but you still have to handle business. You do your best on everything you can for them, you love and nurture them. watching them grow day by day . being a father is being a provider, protector. A teacher you tell yourself there’s nothing you would not do for your kids. You hope and pray they do better than you do. You try to give them things you never had . Try to guide them on the right path in life and hope they choose the right one, since we can’t hold their hands forever.”

Nate said father hood means to him:

“Fatherhood is best summed up in the book “The Road” by Cormac McCarthy. The world is a dangerous place, but you can find beauty by loving one another. Be generous and kind whenever you can. Remain curious at all times, thinking about problems, taking a breathe and stepping away, then returning with new solutions. Avoid violence because the results are permanent and unpredictable, but when it’s forced upon you, defend yourself and your family with all available means. Life is precious and meant to be shared and protected. Everywhere you go, carry the fire with you.”

To me, it’s about nurturing growth, showing love, and teaching important life lessons (and pop culture and cool music), while also showing how to handle challenges, joy, and lots of mistakes. It also means holding a safe space for learning, growing, and exploring the world together through the tough and the beautiful moments.“
