We got something special for you!
"David Grace is a filmmaker and multimedia visual artist from New York, presently residing in Albuquerque.
Born in a wind torn shack in Louisville, Kentucky, from an early age David learned to trap raccoons and possums, which he ate. At age ten he was adopted by a traveling circus where he performed as a tight rope walker for many months until THE INCIDENT.
He is a graduate the School of Visual Arts and worked in the film industry in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn for six years. He is inspired by David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Jan Svankmajer, Roy Andersson, Sam Raimi, Harry Houdini, and too many more to name here. His favorite films are The Red Shoes, Amadeus, and the Silence of the Lambs. His favorite color is bright red.
He has assembled 20 years of film, video, and animation work into a single 40 minute compilation. He has screened these works all over the country to great enthusiasm.β
David submitted a couple of entries into our ACM Promotional Video Contest, and while it didn't win, it was one of the most unique to be screened at our viewing party. Absurd, imperfect, original: just what we want in our Studio! You can find the promos as well as his other fantastic creations by following him here:
