In Memory of Marcia Lucas (1945–2026)
Marcia Lucas was more than an editor she was a storyteller whose work helped shape the original Star Wars into the cultural phenomenon it became. Her editing on Star Wars (1977) earned an Academy Award and played a vital role in bringing George Lucas' vision to life.
From the destruction of the Death Star to the emotional journeys of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia, her creative instincts helped define some of the most iconic moments in cinema history. Her contributions continue to inspire filmmakers and fans around the world.
The Force will always be with the stories she helped create.

Rio Bravo has an amazing soccer ball glass!? I hope they are still in stock when I get there tomorrow! Can’t wait to fill it with beer, put on my United cowboy hat, sit back, relax, and read some comics.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted but I’ve been grabbing comics, drinking brews (mostly coffee and hazy IPA’s) buying an original Andy Khun Last Ronin Ashcan page (HOLY S**T EXCITING!) ,and rocking out. I saw my favorite band as close as you can get at the amazing Red Rocks venue and met the awesome Dave Hill! I even joined his gang The Dangerous Snakes Who Hate Bu****it! Saw some friends, visited my old comic shop, and man…so much more. But I gotta level with everyone, some of the joy in my life is gone. It’s not a lack of amazing things out there and amazing people in my life. It just feels like all the color is gone. I’m going to take some time to reflect, relax, and see if I can bring the color back. Stay safe out there, everyone. Find your color and hold it tight. Hope to be back at it again soon and in technicolor!
