Our Story

National Communications magazine was founded in 1988 and is published bi-monthly. We cover the hobbies of scanner radio monitoring as well as citizens band (CB) and the Family (FRS), General Mobile (GMRS) and Multi-Use (MURS) radio services and two-way radio in general. An online access account includes all current issues and every past issue of NatCom online in PDF format.

We welcome newcomers to the hobby of scanning, CB, GMRS, FRS and MURS -- and all two-way radio -- and develop a forum for all those who are radio enthusiasts where they can share ideas or make suggestions for manufacturers.

NatCom, our nickname, covers all aspects of the radio hobby from beginner to advanced. We're America's Hobby Radio Magazine! ISSN: 2475-5478.
