Blayke is a kindergarten teacher at Reiley Elementary School (Campbell County Schools, Kentucky). She is known for creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment where children and education mean the world! 🎉🤗🍂 Happy September! Our feature family this month includes a very special child named Eleanor Jane and her parents.

Eleanor was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 at just one week old, but the Petersen Family doesn’t let that get in the way of living life to its fullest. Their motto is “Don’t wait for tomorrow.” If you want to wear the sparkles, then wear the sparkles! Erick Petersen, Eleanor’s dad, is a who works at Amazon Air out of CVG. He also organizes one of our region’s largest Make-A-Wish Foundation fundraisers with lots of support from the community, the Bengals, the Reds and of course his wife Elizabeth.

You can read more about this incredible family and how they give back in our Resident Feature article. 📬 PLUS - if you have a you'd like to nominate, send an email to our content coordinator at [email protected]

⚽️ What an outstanding athlete!

This month, we highlighted Campbell County High School soccer star Carlos Marquez. Carlos has been playing soccer for about 13 years and is definitely one to watch this season. This midfielder (who is also an awesome drummer off the field) said he's grateful to be part of a winning team at CCHS.

Let's give a round of applause for Carlos Marquez and the boys soccer team at CCHS!

🍎 The school year may be over, but we're still out here celebrating teachers!

This month, our amazing educator is none other than Emily Barth Klopp from Crossroads Elementary School (Campbell County Schools, Kentucky)! A second generation teacher, Emily is known for being loud (or excited, as she calls it). She loves watching students grow, achieve their goals and develop a love for education.

THANK YOU for all you do, Emily Barth Klopp!

A new month means a new edition of Neighbors of Alexandria! One the cover for June is a family that's sweet as honey, but tough as nails - The Tischner Family!

❤️ This family is a beautiful example of love in action. With a mix of adopted and biological children, their family is built on the foundation of unconditional love, inclusion, and a deep commitment to one another. But that’s not all—theirs is also a family of hard work and passion, as they run a thriving business producing farm-fresh honey!

🌼 The Tischner family’s journey is a sweet reminder (quite literally) that the best things in life come from dedication, patience, and a little bit of nature’s magic. We hope their story inspires you as much as it has inspired us.

📣 Want to nominate a family? We'd love to have you or your neighbor on the cover for a future edition! Email nominations to [email protected] for consideration.
