It was an honor to join our Fort Polk community today for the JRTC and Fort Polk Change of Command Ceremony!

Thank you to Maj. Gen. Jason Curl and his family for their leadership, service, and dedication to our soldiers and community. A warm welcome to Brig. Gen. Matthew Hardman and his family as he assumes command!

I’m grateful for LSUA’s partnership with Fort Polk and the opportunity to support the service members and families who mean so much to Central Louisiana. 💜💛🇺🇸

Last Thursday, LSUA faculty and staff came together for the Heartwork Challenge: Connect the A Team!

Colleagues from across campus met new teammates and developed ideas to help us better connect and celebrate the people of LSUA.

Congratulations to Team Blue on winning the Heartwork Challenge with Operation GOLD! I can’t wait to see your idea come to life and bring even more of our LSUA team together. 💜💛

A sweet celebration of the people who make LSUA special! 💜💛

We enjoyed connecting with faculty, staff, and students at Cake on the Geaux to celebrate a record fall enrollment of 8,600 students!

Behind that milestone is a team whose care and commitment make a difference every day. Thank you for doing the Heartwork!

There is something special about bringing the LSUA team together! Today’s Leadership Retreat gave campus leaders time to reflect, collaborate, and look ahead as they continue shaping the future of our university.

The day was filled with meaningful conversations about Heartwork, LSUA’s vision, and the strategic planning process.

A special thank-you to our LSUA Foundation Board Chair Michael Crowell and Vice Chair Trish Leleux for joining the team as lunch keynote speakers, and to Red River Bank for graciously hosting!

Our first Wellness Check was a wonderful reminder of the heart behind the work we do at LSUA. 💜

There was something special about taking time to slow down, connect, and hear one another’s “why.” So many meaningful conversations were shared about the Heartwork that drives what we do each day. A special thank you to our own Dane Ervin for providing the perfect soundtrack for the afternoon!

I’m grateful for the time spent together and already looking forward to next month’s Wellness Check. Geaux Generals! 💜💛
