Have you been staring at the battlefield so long that you've lost sight of the Banner?

In 2 Kings 6, Elisha's servant looked outside and saw an enemy army surrounding the city. Fear immediately took hold because all he could see was the problem.

But Elisha saw something different.

He saw what God saw.

When the Lord opened the servant's eyes, he discovered that heaven's army had been present all along.

The circumstances had not changed.

His perspective had.

Today in Divine Alignment, we were reminded that faith does not deny reality—it recognizes that reality includes more than what is visible.

The obstacle is real.
The waiting is real.
The challenge is real.

But so is God's presence.
So is His provision.
So is His faithfulness.

Have you ever been frustrated because God didn't answer your prayer the way you expected?

That was Naaman's struggle.

He wanted healing, but he wanted it on his terms. He expected a dramatic moment, a public display, and a process that matched his status. Instead, God gave him a simple instruction that required humility and obedience.

How often do we do the same?

We trust God's power, but struggle with His methods.
We trust His promises, but question His process.
We want the breakthrough, but resist the path that leads to it.

Tuesday in Divine Alignment, we were reminded that God's process is never accidental. Sometimes the very thing we are resisting is the tool God is using to transform us.

Have you ever felt like God started something in your life, but you can't see what He's doing now?

That is often where faith is tested—not at the beginning of the promise and not at the fulfillment of the promise, but in the middle.

Monday in Divine Alignment, we explored what it means to trust God's unfinished work. The widow in 2 Kings 4 looked at her situation and saw debt, lack, and uncertainty. God looked at the same situation and saw provision, purpose, and possibility.

Sometimes we become so focused on what is missing that we overlook what God has already placed in our hands.

As we continue our June focus on Jehovah Nissi—The Lord Our Banner, we are reminded to lift our eyes above our circumstances and trust that God is working beyond what we can currently see.

The battle is not the whole story.
The waiting is not the whole story.
The delay is not the whole story.

God is still moving.

As we conclude our week studying identity, discipleship, and living beneath the banner of the Lord, this Weekend Bridge invites us to reflect on what God has been teaching us and prepare our hearts for the next chapter in Scripture.

Throughout the week, we watched God expand Peter's perspective, break down barriers, challenge divided loyalties, meet Elijah in a cave of discouragement, and commission Barnabas and Saul into their next assignment. Each lesson reminded us that our identity is not rooted in our circumstances but in the God who calls us His own.
