Life sure has a way of taking you in directions that you might not be ready for. I have moved from doing sound gigs 2 or more days a week in State College, to a volunteer role in my church where my wife and I attend.
Even though I am behind the console every Sunday at church, I still get asked to do a few special events.

Just came from a funeral at church. Young man with a young family. Funerals are just hard to work. But he had many friends and family talk how he impacted their lives. And what a testimony for Christ he had to his friends.

Since January of this year I have returned to helping the church I am a member at with the production team for their services. They have so many issues for all areas of technology the use. We are a small group but we love to serve the people that attend our in person services and watch our online recordings.
This will put my twenty years of professional experience and the ten years of church work to the test. I am not the wisest in this field but I can learn still and try to find wiser ones to ask question of and listen to their experience.
