What are your thoughts on Indie, the dog actor from “Good Boy”, winning a Golden Globe Award?

Did you see the movie? What were your thoughts on the film?

🐶🏆 FILM HISTORY WAS JUST MADE.

At the 9th Astra Film Awards, Indy the Dog won Best Performance in a Horror or Thriller for GOOD BOY — becoming the first animal ever to win a major acting award in a category traditionally reserved for human performers.

He beat Ethan Hawke, Alison Brie, Sally Hawkins, Sophie Thatcher, and Alfie Williams.

The film is told largely from Indy’s perspective, using subtle reactions, unease, and physical performance — and many critics say he’s the emotional core of the movie.

Love it or hate it, this is a huge moment for film awards. 🎬🐾

- Lifeforce (1985)
- Dracula (1979) (the movie that lead to Donald Pleasance being cast as Dr. Loomis)
- Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) (surprise Paul Rudd appearance!)
- Halloween: H20 (1998) (surprise Joseph Gordon Levitt appearance!)
Edit: Forgot all about “Vampire in Brooklyn”! Likely my favorite of the bunch!
