Hi out there,
I have to thank people for checking into the Tidepool studio page, I have not had much to post in the past 12 months , considering the pandemic and all , I thought it best to let it be, good news is please keep checking back as things are about to change in a positive way. I think streaming is going to be around for a while so I am adding studio quality audio and high quality video streaming gear to make professional webcasts for artists for any purpose.

Been burning the candle at both ends this month, 22 shows at the theater and countless other projects. Lisa Fischer last night , absolutely amazing vocalist, sang with Rolling Stones. Lots of gigs lately, between The Kessler theater which is becoming very steady and the other companies I work for have kept the studio quiet, although we did record a version of a Leonard Cohen tune last week. Not as you might think though, so far it's an idea, who knows what we will do with it. That is the best part of having the studio, being able to try things that you want, when you want. Festivals and lots of gigs on the near horizon but we will be tracking away here too.

After what has been a difficult time in the last several months and many plans had to be shelved due to the circumstances. It's time to unshelled those plans and get on with it. Tidepool welcomes Paul Slavens to our operation in the role of Producer and In charge of the creative process to help artists get the most out of their music. Paul is an incredible and prodigious songwriter and to have his knowledge and ability here is an invaluable asset that will improve the end product in all areas. Very excited to have Paul with us. Mixing the music portion of a telethon, great gig, probably close to 20 years on this gig. I just mix the bands and send my 2 mix to the tv truck. Love it, I use the D Show on this gig purely for the second encoder per strip, lets you park your most used functions always where you can grab them without punching up the function.

Big news will be broken in the coming week, Tidepool is raising its game by adding key personnel to the studio. I will spill the beans early next week, get ready, it's a big one that's coming!

New Console on its way from Bemidji, Minnesota. Out with the poor injured Midas and in with something new. 32 glorious preamps, and some digi-log capabilities. Old Midas becomes 28 outboard preamps since they all function properly. This with new Dangerous 2 bus LT summing mixer adds a lot of analog in the control room. Thanks Greg in Mn. Great guy to deal with.

Back from a family funeral in Indianapolis. Ready to get back to work. Hope to have the trio in this week.

Doing some gigs with long hours so not much to report . Hope to have the Power trio back this week. Had a great time with them last week. Heavy guitar due to 8 string beast. More to come. Happy Easter.
