Most East Penn Schools have registered, some Allentown, Northampton, Northern Leigh, and Bethlehem too.
No schools from Parkland School District or Salisbury Township School District. Please spread the word!

Attention area SCHOOLS!
If you are interested in working with us to host an author at your school (for free) you must register EVERY YEAR. Please do not come in and ask our bookstore staff, they will send you to the same place, our website! Our authors-to-schools program is in 11th year, and the program is outlined online, as well as a sign up form. Link is in the comments.

In addition to The End: a bookstore hosting these fabulous authors this Fall, a number of them are also visiting area schools!

Nathan W. Pyle, Ruta Sepetys and Steve Sheikin are all visiting schools as a part of our Authors-to-Schools Program! If your school hasn't signed up for the program this year there is still time. Visit our website and select About Us/Services, then select Authors to Schools program!

Excited for this afternoon's Where's Waldo event at The End: a bookstore! We miss our parties at 244 Main, but we hope you can join us - BERNIE will be there!

Waldo hunters - join us TOMORROW at the Where's Waldo Fantastically Fun Celebration at our place from 4 to 6pm. Indoor extra Waldo scavenger hunt, art activities with Cut the Scrap! & Bananarama Sundae in our outdoor space. Bring those passports in to WIN PRIZES - drawing at 5pm.

2013 seems like yesterday!

This past weekend we celebrated 12+ years of business with you, and our trivia contest generated a ton of competitive FUN! Questions from pets to best-sellers, ages of team members to exactly HOW did we open with no books?

The questions were hard, but there were hints all over the shop - including a SCRAPBOOK on the main desk open for all to see!

We are scoring the results today and will share all the questions and their answers. Someone/family will win the $100 Gift Card to THE END!

Plus,  celebrate our anniversary with us was special markdowns on picture books, and don’t forget to pick up your Waldo!!!

Come and get your Summer Reading Bingo at The End: a bookstore!

It's time to PLAY BOOKS! Today we kicked off our SUMMER READING challenge - for ALL AGES! Last year's Book Bingo was so beloved, we decided to make one for adults too! We aren't forcing a specific amount of time per day, or specific books - we are encouraging engagement and fun with books! Pop in the shop to pick up our old-school piece of paper and have fun. Small prizes for all that finish 5 in a row (and 1 is a freebie!) - finish the whole the board you are entered to win a $50 gift card!
