WDPN-AM1310 features the sounds of “Unforgettable Favorites” 24 hours a day. The station is full-service, with hourly ABC news around the clock and local news every 30 minutes between 6am and 6pm, weekdays. Mount Union sports play-by-plays are an important programming feature, available for streaming at www.am1310wdpn.com. The station hosts a Home, Garden, and Leisure Show in the Spring, classic car Cruise-Ins every week in Summer, and the Active Adult Expo in the Fall. Daytime coverage includes all of Stark and Carroll counties (Canton Metro) and large portions of Mahoning, Columbiana, and Portage counties from 6am to sundown. WDPN broadcasts 24 hours a day with 1,000 watts in the day time and 500 watts at night. Started in 1953 as WFAH, the station was renamed WDPN on September 1, 1990 and remains committed to the local community, serving the needs of the Alliance area.
