Directed by Miao Wang (Beijing Taxi) and Hao Wu (76 Days), ADMISSIONS GRANTED follows the main players on both sides of the landmark Supreme Court case (SFFA v. Harvard) that killed affirmative action in 2023. It’s a thought-provoking look at the complicated nature of affirmative action and our nations increasing polarization on matters of race, equity, and inclusion.

If you appreciate 'film', as a medium that helped shape post-war modern American culture, then you are going to love Peter Flynn's FILM IS DEAD. LONG LIVE FILM!, where you'll meet these hilarious, dogmatic, adorable, daring and sometimes boorish, suburban packrats who fell in love with film at an early age and just kept going.

FILM IS DEAD. LONG LIVE FILM! explores the vanishing world of private film collecting—an obsessive, secretive, often illicit world of basement film vaults, piled-high with forgotten reels, inhabited by passionate cinephiles devoted to the rescue and preservation of photochemical film. The result is a lively and loving tribute to the private film collector, a celebration of the fetishistic subculture of pre-video movie-love, and a timely reminder of the glories of analog film.

“Spectacular… a massive treat for cinephiles. A wave of nostalgia and wonder is felt in every scene.” – Film Threat

"Funny and observant… immensely entertaining!” – The Independent

September is looking up! A proud moment for us - Streaming now on CRITERION CHANNEL Three films by Andrew Bujalski, all mixed at Modulus. COMPUTER CHESS (2013), RESULTS (2015) and SUPPORT THE GIRLS (2018).

Progenitor of the early-2000s indie filmmaking wave that would come to be known as mumblecore, Andrew Bujalski has retained the handcrafted, DIY spirit that defined the movement even as his productions have grown (modestly) in budget and scale. His films are humorously offbeat, precisely observed...
