Lapidary Summer Camp for Grown Ups

I have always wanted to go to the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts and I finally got my chance. What a fun, friendly place this was to learn how to properly make a cabochon. They also offer over 200 different classes in more than 30 mediums.

Use the code MICHIGANROCKS (all caps) for $50 off a class at William Holland. Full disclosure: I was given a free class, but I don't make any money if you use the code above. I just think you should because you're going to have a great time and learn a bunch!

Best Agate Hunt Ever!

Sam, Jonathan, and I met up with local agate hunter Craig to hunt a Minnesota gravel pit. We had an amazing day of finding some beautiful agates.

I found a nice little Petoskey stone and gave it a polish. I think you'll like this one too.
