As a ride share driver I’m always thankful for the person that tips me $1 because to me they did more than the person that tipped me nothing! However maybe the person that tipped me nothing only had enough for the ride. At the end of the day this is what I signed up for and I’m grateful for the opportunity. No one owes us anything. Be obedient and give and God will do the rest!
I ordered a bunch of bath towels from Target total came out to $86 and I still tipped five bucks. Nothing crazy, just being fair. This morning I open the door and see my bag sitting there with a bright yellow sticky note that says ‘$5? You go to hell boy!!’ 💀
Like… what?? You dropped off towels, not carried them from heaven. 😭 I tipped you real money, not Monopoly cash. These delivery apps already charge a delivery fee, service fee, processing fee, and probably a ‘you blinked while ordering’ fee. I’m one order away from tipping my own reflection.
Let’s do some math: $86 order, $5 tip that’s over 5% for someone to drive less than 10 minutes and leave it at my door. That’s not stingy, that’s reasonable. But apparently 2025 delivery drivers want retirement plans and therapy included.
If five bucks for a quick drop-off makes you write a hate note, maybe Target delivery isn’t your battlefield 😭😭
