My go-to crunchiness when I need a plant based high iron snack during that time of the month.  Super yummy by itself or tossed on salad, pumpkin seeds and edamame is where it’s at.  Bonus they are also high in protein.

Broth, especially homemade - which can easily be made— is very hydrating and can give you loads of electrolytes. If your in an especially warm environment try adding a cup of warm broth to your daily routine for extra hydration 💕✨

Do you ever just have an easy dinner night?

We do! Sometimes its leftovers or frozen pizza, sometimes it’s instant Ramen + protein. Either way there are days Momma needs a break!

We plan these into our week and I do look forward to them!

1 whole chicken cooked and deboned can be ysed in loads of meals plus the bones cooked down for broth.

I like to use the shredded chicken in white chicken chili, chicken salad sandwiches, chicken tacos, and in soups like chicken noodle soup.

The broth can be used in any meals that require water or broth for cooking such as rice or soups.
it’s also very hydrating and is great for sipping on when you need extra hydration. You can freeze the broth to be used at a later time.

Todays lunch?

A fun activity— bagel pizzas created by the kids.

Although we aren’t strictly gluten free anymore, could do this with gluten-free bagels too.

Its one of the meals I had planned for lunch. Since my kids aren’t big on sandwiches and I personally prefer a hot lunch, it checks the boxes.

Need less carbs? Use bagel thins

Need more protein? Add chicken, pepporoni or favorite pizza protein

Need less fat? Add more veggies and less cheese

Need more fiber? Add a big salad or steamed veggies on the side.

We make it as complicated or a bougie as we need for the day.

Best of all, no guesswork since it was a planned meal when I went to the store 2 weeks ago. 🙌🏼
