Update: if you missed the story on the Z, the day of our wedding, my wife forgot the wedding license, and when the coordinator asked where it was, she said “back at the hotel in a folder in my room”.. we jumped through a few hoops by sending a friend back to the hotel to talk his way in, retrieve the license and get it to the church before we got to the “I do” part.  We pulled it off. Fast-forward to my daughter‘s wedding in 2023. The coordinator asked my daughter where the wedding license was and she responded “back at the hotel in a folder in my room.” The apple fell very close to the tree.

I have wanted to go on a bioluminescence kayaking tour for years. Last night, Janice took me, my daughter and her husband as an early birthday present. Couldn’t wait until my actual birthday in September because this weekend was the new moon. One of the most amazing experiences ever! Our guide, Jordyn was very knowledgeable, and educated us on how to enjoy this experience while being gentle on the fragile ecosystems. I highly recommend!
