Few frames from an outdoor recreation series we shot last year

Last year we were given the opportunity to tell the stories of local climbers, mountain bikers, and fishers in our area. We wanted to bring to light the beauty of our geographical location in relation to our abundant outdoor recreations.

We utilised the RED dragon and the FX3 + FX6 for this series. Loved having the FX3 for cable cams, POV shots, and those unique shots that require such a small camera. Both the RED and Sony’s held up to the heat and dirt that comes with filming in the backwoods.

The tool that allowed us to bring all the gear into the backwoods was the action X50. This bag was able to hold up and carry an assortment of camera gear along with climbing gear.

Team killed it on these projects and can’t wait to make more films like these!

The arts come alive in southwest Illinois thanks to the work of dedicated and passionate artists. Meet the artistic 'Heartbeats' of the region including those from Opera Edwardsville and The Macoupin Art Collective along with Alton artist Michael Snider in the new "Heartbeats" video series launching in January.

Michael Radosevich and Chris Bohnemeier's passion for great BBQ led them to create Collinsville BBQ Supply. That gave them the added privelege of supporting police, fire, medical and military operations with a percentage of their sales. The pair's dedication to their community and to those who serve make them part of the "Heartbeats" of southwest Illinois. Stay tuned for the launch of this great video docu-series in January.
