🎃🍁 CORDELL PUMPKIN FESTIVAL – THIS SATURDAY! 🍁🎃
Get ready for a full day of fun, food, and fall excitement in downtown Cordell! Here’s everything happening — from pancakes to parades to pumpkin pie! 👇

🥞 7–9 AM – Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast
At 4th & College Church of Christ
$10 for adults / $6 for kids 10 & under – All you can eat!
Start your morning right with a plate (or three) of warm pumpkin pancakes!

🚗 7–10 AM – Car Show Registration
At the Community Center on North College (follow the signs!)
Show runs from 9 AM to 3 PM – Awards at 2 PM

🎂 8–9 AM – Pumpkin Baking Contest Registration
Free to enter! Set up by the Courthouse.
Categories: pies, breads, candies, cakes, cookies.
Each entry must include pumpkin and a recipe card!
Awards announced after the parade.

🎶 9 AM – Cordell High School Marching Band
Kick off the festival with the Pride of Cordell on the Courthouse steps!

🛞 9 AM - 2 PM - Burn Out registration open at chamber booth. $20, must show insurance.

🎡 9 AM–3 PM – Vendors & Food Trucks
All around the Courthouse Square – shop local goodies, grab lunch, and enjoy fall treats!

🎠 9 AM–3 PM – Kids Zone on North Market
Inflatables ($5 for all-day fun), pony rides ($5), face painting ($5–$10), color contest, toys, snacks, and more!

🚜 9 AM – Parade Lineup
Line up on North Temple – Parade starts at 10 AM!
It’ll loop around the Courthouse (backwards from normal traffic) and end at the library.
🏆 After the parade, vote for your favorite entry at the Chamber booth!
Winner announced on the main stage at Noon – $50 cash prize!

🎤 All Day – Live Entertainment on Stage
Featuring Slim Pickin’ and Those Cars Out West!

🏛️ 9:30 AM–Noon – Wash*ta County Museum Open
Free admission (donations appreciated!)

🎲 1–2 PM – Bingo in “The Cave” at the Wash*ta Theater
$1 per card per game – play about 10 rounds!
Final game: $5 card with a chance to win $1000 cash!

🏈 2:30 PM – OU/Texas Game at the Wash*ta Theater
Free showing! Concessions open and donations accepted.
Tailgate atmosphere without the wind!

🔥 3 PM – Burnout Contest on North Temple
Register at the Chamber booth earlier in the day ($20, must show insurance).
Come watch the engines roar!

🎬 6 PM – Theater Opens for the Evening
🍿 7 PM – Movie: Top Gun at the Wash*ta Theater
💀 7 PM – Haunted Morgue Opens on South Market

Here is Copper Break's calendar of events for October!

This Saturday, 10/4, we will be looking at the moon in celebration of international observe the moon night, then Sunday 10/12 we will have programming for visitors staying in the park during the extended Columbus day weekend.
