**FUN FACT**- Its common belief that the "Slipper Clutch" or what some refer to as the "Cheater Clutch" is a relatively new invention.
The "slipper clutch" had its first patent filed in France 1953. Later in 1972 a US patent was published for a "Slipper Clutch Assembly". Which was made popular in drag racing during the 70s and has seen significant improvement the past couple decades. Still used in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Sportsman, Gasser. Now popular in H Pattern, Small tire Radial Classes
