Had a blast participating in the annual purple monkey fun run. My beautiful wife ran the 10K and my fellow firefighters and I ran the 5K.

Coach Lenny Garcia continues to show us what it means to support your community. This event has raised money for student scholarships for over 20 years now.

Praying for all those affected by the mass shooting in Minneapolis. Shame on the monster who committed the act of hate and violence. The coward took their own life before being taken down by law enforcement.

Alvin's own Andy Van Dine has been named Engineer Operator of the Year by the La Porte Fire Department. Andy has been serving Alvin as a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years. He was my first instructor in the fire academy years ago. Way to go Andy!!!
