Y’all see a $25 custom shirt and start doing Walmart math. 😭
“$25?! 😳 I can buy a shirt for $5!”
Okay. 🥰
Then go buy the $5 shirt. 😂
Nobody is stopping you.
But PLEASE stop comparing a small business making ONE custom shirt for you to a corporation producing thousands of shirts at once.
Because baby… that math ain’t mathing. 😂
You’re not paying $25 for “just a shirt.”
You’re paying for:
✨ The blank shirt
✨ My custom Designs
✨ DTF transfer
✨ Supplies
✨ Equipment
✨ Software
✨ Packaging
✨ My time
✨ My labor
✨ My skill
✨ My CREATIVITY
✨ My EXPERIENCE
And the convenience of sending me a picture, saying “I want this on a shirt” and magically receiving the finished product without having to figure out how to make it yourself and it looks way better than what you sent me. 😂
I answer the messages.
I make the mockup.
I do the marketing.
I do the presentation.
I design the design half the time from scratch.
I press the shirt.
I check the shirt.
I package the shirt.
I handle the order.
And somehow the part that gets questioned is my $25. 😭😂
Meanwhile… y’all will spend $7 on coffee every morning or more, $20 on lunch, $50 at the dispensary, and another $30 on random s**t you absolutely did NOT need…
& I refuse to compete with Walmart, Amazon, Temu,SHEIN or somebody selling shirts so cheap they’re basically donating their labor. 😂
I know what my products cost me.
I know how long they take.
I know what my time is worth.
And I’m not working for free just because somebody else decided they wanted to.Don’t get me wrong I run sales from time to time super cheap so I can fit everyone’s budget and still have people saying how dumb I am for running those sales so cheap.
Custom work has VALUE.
So if my price isn’t for you? That’s okay. ❤️
Just keep scrolling or go to the next person.
& to everybody who actually GETS IT?
The repeat customers.
The ones who share my stuff.
The ones who constantly engage.
The ones who recommend me.
The ones who say “Girl, charge more!” 😂
The ones who say ”Sent” without question
The ones that buy from me and leave reviews.
The ones who aren’t afraid of buying from me because other people will see.😂🤷🏽♀️
The ones who dont constantly ask for discounts.
The ones who truly support me out loud not just in private messages.👊🏽
The ones who support my small businesses without trying to negotiate every single dollar…
