Dear Melissa
My boyfriend and I got into an argument this past weekend about Christmas wish lists. He had the nerve to ask me to give him one. This made me mad because he should have been paying attention to things I mentioned I want during the past year. He should also know what I like by now and be creative and put effort into getting those gifts. This is what our whole argument was about. He says he has a lot going on and no time to remember all that. The fight started because I told him that shows a lack of effort. My brother told me I need to go easier on my boyfriend while my sister agreed with my stance. Where do you stand on this? Should I apologize or not? Kids should give lists not adults.

Dear Melissa
My jaw hit the floor yesterday when I received a group text from my brother, my sister, my mother, my cousin and my sister-in-law. They have been mad at me for two weeks and didn't say anything until yesterday. Apparently, they couldn't hold it in anymore. I hosted Thanksgiving at my house. They were all mad at me because I did not offer them any of the leftovers. I paid for the food and wanted it for myself and my family. They said I was being cheap by not offering them any food. I disagree. I paid for it so it's mine. Do they have a right to be mad? Am I a cheapskate? Should I be feeling bad over this?
