Dear Melissa
My neighbor is mad at me because her kids got sick when they came over to play with my children. She had to take her children to the doctor and is now staying home to care for them. She has asked me to pay for part of their medical bills and medicine because I neglected to tell her my kids were sick. I can't control whether or not her children have weak immune systems. I don't think I should be responsible for the medical bills. What do you think? Should I chip in or not? Am I at all responsible? I think she is overstepping because we really don't know how her children got sick.
