Happy 25th Anniversary to the X-Men!

At a time when superhero movies were often dismissed as niche or even campy, X-Men proved that these adaptations could be smart, stylish, and taken seriously by audiences worldwide. It paved the way for the success of other Marvel blockbusters like Spider-Man and ultimately set the stage for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to become the powerhouse it is today. It also created lasting images of character performance such as Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Ian Mckellan as Magneto.
