ol's literary arts publication, The Corral, her junior and senior year. A lifetime lover of the written word, Callie grew up reading every book she could get her hands on. She began writing poetry and short fiction at an early age, looking up to Roald Dahl, Shel Silverstein, and, of course, J.K. As she grew, writing became her escape during her teenage years. She wrote stories with her friends and kept multiple embarrassing journals. When she began her freshman year of college, she decided to dedicate her life to the English language and declared a degree in English. She entered the Creative Writing program at Hardin-Simmons University under the direction of Dr. Bob Fink. She completed a senior chapbook of thirty poems, The Healing Under Highway 20, in the spring of 2012 and presented it publicly that May. She received the Campbell-Lacy Creative Writing Award her junior and senior year. Determined to avoid the ever-present question, "What are you going to do with an English degree?", Callie founded her editing business. Since then, she has helped dozens of clients from all over the world prepare their work to present to the public. She has branched out to embrace her other talents: writing, organization, and art. Her goal is to help others become more successful through personal critique, constructive criticism, and specialized education.
