I’ve been saying lately that I want to read more q***r authors and somehow the universe immediately responded. S/o 🌙⚔️📚

Tonight I went to John Glynn’s book tour for The Lost Book of Lancelot and the entire evening felt magical in that “right place, right time” kind of way.

John came across as incredibly warm and grounded, but what really stayed with me was watching his friends and family introduce him. You could feel how proud they were of him. The room wasn’t just filled with readers — it was filled with community. His people.

And honestly? That moved me more than anything.

The themes of longing, identity, belonging, and q***r retellings already resonate with me deeply, and I haven’t even started the book yet. The way he talked about the story reminded me of The Song of Achilles in the best possible way.

I think one of the biggest things I took away tonight is this:
Success starts with your people. The ones who believe in you before the world catches up.

The whole event made me want to go all in on the things I’m building right now — writing, podcasting, storytelling, all of it.

I dream of being in this q***r world more often. And tonight, for a little while, I was.
